Baptism is a gift from God offered to all as a “mark” of faith in Jesus Christ. By water and the Holy Spirit, we receive the gift of God’s forgiveness and grace, and through our baptism, we are commissioned for a life of love and service as a child of God.

 

We offer baptisms for infants, children and adults. Parents or individuals desiring to be baptized are expected to attend a baptism class to help you prepare for this milestone. To schedule a baptism at First Lutheran, please call the church office at 320.762.2196. Baptisms are scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, as well as the 5th Sundays in months when that applies.
