The Bible Recap

Do you want to read, understand, and love scripture? Join us in 2024 for a one-year, chronological reading plan called The Bible Recap. There are tons of resources to guide you, and our FLC team will be there along the way to assist and encourage you!
 

Resources

There are a LOT of tools available to help guide you through reading the Bible. The beauty of this plan is that you can pick and choose which resources to use to tailor your reading & listening experience. There are guides you can purchase, but also know that you can do this plan completely FREE as well!
– Outlined Reading Plan (printed copies are available at the Welcome Center)
– YouVersion Bible Plan – in the app, click ‘plans’ and then search ‘The Bible Recap’, and choose the 365 day plan.
– Daily Journal ($13)
– Periodic emails from the FLC team with encouragement.
– In-person, pastor-led group discussion sessions.
-February: Monday the 26th at 6:45pm & Thursday the 29th at 9:00am
-April: Monday the 29th at 8:45am
-May: Monday the 20th at 8:45am
– The Bible Recap’s monthly email, Newscap – click & scroll to the bottom of the page to submit your email address.

*Books, journals, discussion, & reading guides can be purchased independently at any time or through the church by Sunday, December 10th. Samples of each resource, along with the order form can be found at the Welcome Center – our pricing is listed above.
 

Prep Work

Before December 31, (or before you start the plan) listen and watch the six prep episodes.

Starting January 1 (or whenever you decide to start)

Each day, you’ll do the following, but don’t worry if you miss a day, you can always pick back up right where you left off!
– Read the scripture verses corresponding to each day. (~10 minutes)
– Listen/watch The Bible Recap after you’ve finished reading. (~8 minutes)
 
Optional additions:
– Read the corresponding One Year Guide recap and God Shot
– Journal
– Daily study guide
– Weekly small group discussion
